Ah December!

I love this time of year. I love how the evenings get dark early. I love the crispness of the air. I love the music. And I love love LOVE all the twinkle lights.

The quietness of nature right now is so beautiful and magical.

And oddly enough, it’s during this quiet time of year when things can get a little crazy (amiright?).

Holiday Stress

Between decorating, shopping, mailing, planning get-togethers, going to get-togethers, baking, etc., it can be easy to get a little overwhelmed and stressed out by everything we have to do.

And when that stress and overwhelm come around, we often miss out on the little moments that make life so wonderful.

I mean, it’s hard to notice and appreciate the wonderful sound of snow crunching underfoot, the glitter-filled decorations, and the smiles of kids licking the cookie dough bowl when our brains are spinning around our to-do lists for the next two weeks.

How to Let Go of Stress & Have a Fun Holiday

Now, I’m not going to sit here and tell you to do less.

Sure, maybe taking a couple things off our lists could make life a little easier (Note to my friends reading this – I’m not sending Christmas cards this year. I love you, and I’m putting together my Dream Achiever Summit.).

But that’s not the point. Even by streamlining your schedule, I’m 92.3% sure you’re going to be a little busier this month than normal.

Instead, I’m going to share one of my favorite ways to manage feelings and overwhelm and stress.

And that’s by taking a time out.

Being present.

Letting go of the tension.

Just for a moment….

In doing so, you’ll be able to reset, breathe, and take a little step back – so you can get out there and handle everything you want to do like a PRO.

Tapping for Holiday Overwhelm

And to do all that, I’ve created a little mini tap / breathing release to help you let go of the tension you might be feeling this holiday season.

Here you go:

I did it myself just a few minutes ago, and I’m feeling pretty great! 🙂 And that’s a lot considering that we’re prepping for hosting Christmas Eve / Christmas dinners for the very first time (yikes!), in the middle of birthday festivities, PLUS all the other “normal life” goodness.

Let me know what you think, and I’d love to hear your favorite waits of maintaining your holiday chill (pun SO intended)!

P.S. Whenever you’re ready… here are 4 ways I can help you enjoy the life you work so hard to create:
